Team Athletics St. Vincent and the Grenadines (TASVG) will host a national relay classic for all schools, teams and clubs on Feb. 1 at Arnos Vale Sport Complex from 9 a.m. 1 p.m.
This will be its first competitive event where medals will be presented.
TASVG is inviting other sporting disciplines to participate, saying that the event provides an opportunity for coaches to assess their athletes’ physical development through competitive performances.
Schools should also take this opportunity to assess their relay teams ahead of the 2014 Inter-School Games, TASVG said.
The public is also invited to the event.
