Who is Hossein Zeidi? Why does this Iranian have Vincentian citizenship? Does he have a Vincentian passport? Who approved and who issued the same?

Was the SVG passport an economic citizenship/passport issued by the ULP government? or one of four passports issued to Iranians during the NDP days? — one in 1997 and three in 1998. Just a personal thought, I just hope and pray it isn’t somehow linked to our state –to-state friendship with the past president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

October 11, 2012, Senator Julian Francis said on Star FM that four Iranians were granted citizenship under the NDP while none was granted under the ULP.

My problem with that is even if the NDP issued passports in 1997-1998, they would have been long out of date at the latest by 2008. Unless the ULP issued new passports, only they will know that.

Remember we have had a lot of debate over passports issued in the ULP time, whereby no provision was made in the passport to show previous name(s) of a holder. I am not sure what else was missing, if it was place of birth or previous citizenship/s. But it all brings thoughts to the minds of intelligent people of WHAT! WHY! WHEN! Thousands of passports were burnt at Camden Park, so I wonder if we have a record of exactly how many, all the details of those passports and the location of every one of them. I wrote at the time they should have been mutilated and kept so as we can audit the full detail of what happened at some time in the future. The whole matter returns to what we have all been calling for, transparency and fast and accurate information when the public asks for it. Going off and burning a pile of passports does very little to help that even if there was no wrongdoing, as I suppose there was not.

Here is an extract of a communiqué from the US Treasure Press Centre.   Purchase or Acquisition of U.S. Bank Notes by the Government of Iran/Material Support to the Central Bank of Iran under Executive Order (E.O.) 13622

Treasury designated the following five individuals and one entity under E.O. 13622 for materially assisting, sponsoring, or providing financial, material, or technological support for the purchase or acquisition of U.S. bank notes by the Government of Iran: Hossein Zeidi, Seyed Kamal Yasini, Azizullah Asadullah Qulandary, Asadollah Seifi, Teymour Ameri, and Belfast General Trading.

The Iranian government contracted with Zeidi and Yasini to convert Iranian funds denominated in non-Iranian local currency into U.S. dollars. To date, these individuals and their network have effected the delivery of hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. dollar bank notes to the Iranian government in violation of E.O. 13622. UAE-based Zeidi was responsible for converting foreign currency into U.S. bank notes, and Yasini facilitated the delivery of U.S. bank notes to the Iranian government.

They have put on a list of a number of people who have been illegally helping the Iranian government. On that list Hossein Zeidi is a Vincentian citizen. We must find out how he became a citizen and when and by whose hand.

In 2014 alone, hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. bank notes have been delivered to the Iranian government in contravention of 13622.

  1. I have always maintained that Canada restrictions on Vincentians to Canada didn’t come from the number of refugee claimants, but from Ralph’s close links to enemies of America.
It’s possible the money illegally deposited in a Vincentian bank may have some close connection, as payback, for granting Vincentian passport to some undesirables. It’s pretty easy to see how this could have been accomplished, based on the document above.
Now we know why SVG nationals recently came under such scrutiny from many countries.

  2. The world suffers a lot, Not because of the violence of bad people, But because of the silence of good people.

  3. This is a very scurrilous article , I invite everyone who reads it to go to Caribbean Newspapers.com ; select the JAMAICA OBSERVER , for 5th. January 2015 , WORD FOR WORD IS THIS SAME ARTICLE , MINUS THE ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINES PASSPORT .

There really are some exceedingly devious persons in SVG , bent on Political Mischief they must be flushed out . This is not a long article so hopefully the moderators will publish it quickly
to refute the piece of garbage that has the photograph of a SVG Passport at the top
while the author delves in plagiarism . He /She should be jailed .

    1. Well if it isn’t Horace now using the name Veridical. I just read the Jamaica Observer for the 5th Jan 2015 from cover to cover. There is no article that remotely in any way shape or form that resembles what I wrote.

Instead of keep bringing crap and lies here why not comment on what I wrote. The basics of what I wrote came directly from the US Government, The rest came from local newspapers and from online mega stars like I-Witness News.

Now stop this silly nasty Marxist propaganda crap and be a man and use your own name so as we can assess what a pratt you really are.

The facts are every word written in this article are true and factual.

  4. Well I don’t know what “Veridical” read or did not read in the Jamaica Observer or anywhere else, but two points:
    1) if the Jamaica Observer had the same information “word for word” as this article that does not make this article plagiarism. As Peter Binose says he is quoting a US Treasury Department release. If I quote what you say and acknowledge that I am quoting you that is NOT PLAGIARISM. Plagiarism is when I use your words, do not acknowledge that they are your words while pretending that they are mine. That is a basic definition that one would have hoped that all commenters on a serious web site would have learned in High School.
    2) I did what “Veridical” should have done, which is Google US Treasury Department and when I got that site I searched for “Purchase of US Banknotes by Government of Iran” and what did I get? Precisely the information contained in this article – including
“Citizenship; Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
    Citizenship: St Kitts and Nevis”.
For anyone who wants to look it up for her/himself the URL is:

  5. WE live in an era where there are a multiple of things that can be done to make things seem to be authentic , when in truth , they are not genuine . EG , Photo Shopping ; Cut & Paste etc .
I find it very interesting that in the U,S document that was cited for verification the St. Kitts &
Nevis passport number RE 0003553 was provided .

However NO ST. VINCENT & THE GRENADINES PASSPORT NUMBER WAS LISTED . I
don’t believe that the US Government is that sloppy . It stands to reason therefore that if a
St. Vincent & the Grenadines Passport was listed , WE would have know the number of the passport .

I have absolutely no doubt that the Jamaica Observer would have also cited that the person
who is being watched by the USA Authorities , St. Vincent & the Grenadines Passport number

I believe now that you are going to take a picture of a S V G Passport , and tell us that is a picture of the passport . Despite the fact that cannot reveal the Passport number . Nice Try
but you have been caught , FALSELY TAKING A PHOTO OF AN SVG PASSPORT &

INDULGING IN THE ART OF CUTTING & PASTING .

    Veridical

  6. I AM STILL AWAITING THE PASSPORT NUMBER OF THE ST. VINCENT & THE

GRENADINES PASSPORT . IT IS STRANGE THAT THE US GOVERNMENT PROVIDED THE

ST. KITTS & NEVIS PASSPORT NUMBER & DID NOT PROVIDE THE ST. VINCENT & THE

    GRENADINES PASSPORT NUMBER .

    THIS IS BEYOND BELIEF

    Veridical

  7. It is amazing that in the Cut & Paste Job that was done , somehow wittingly or unwittingly ; the Passport number of the SVG Passport was missing . I expected that it would have been prominently featured in the Photo of the SVG Passport Picture . But it was not there .

I also expected that in the purported authentic document that came from the USA , the SVG
Passport number was not listed in the document supplied by the USA , however the document
gave the passport number for the St. Kitts & Nevis passport .

Unless WE are supplied with the SVG passport number that is in possession of this Iranian
Guy , the credibility of some will be severely damaged .

    Veridical

  8. WOW , PAT ROBINSON COMMISSIONG ,

Very impressive pedigree , however regarding the Saga of the Iranian being in possession of n
    a St. Vincent & the Grenadines Passport ; the evidence is exceedingly weak unless you ;
Peter et al can produce the following evidence .

The passport ‘s number , and a picture of the Iranian in the Passport . If this is not done , and authenticated by the Government of St. Vincent & the Grenadines that the passport number
is valid , You & your Pedigree will take a very serious dent .

As I said to Peter , it is very strange that the Article in the Jamaica Observer , dated 5th January 2015 never ever mentioned anything about the Iranian having a Vincentian Passport .
It would be very far fetched to suggest that Dr. Gonsalves ordered the Editor of the Jamaica
Observer to delete any mention of the Iranian being in possession of a SVG Passport .

The central issue in this Caper however , from my perspective is this . The passport number
for the St. Kitts & Nevis passport is listed , but in your Cut & Paste Document it simply aint there . Now I believe that in the next few days you & Peter are going to produce a fictitious
Passport number and boldly proclaim that is the passport number .

BUT IT WILL BE TO LATE . IF YOU HAD IT , YOU WOULD HAVE ALREADY PRODUCED

IT ; WITH THE IRANIAN PHOTO INSIDE . GENERALLY IT IS ALWAYS LITTLE SEEMINGLY

INSIGNIFICANT THINGS THAT PERPETRATORS OF MISCHIEF BETRAY THEMSELVES

    Regards Nevertheless ,

  9. Peter Binose & Pat Robinson Commissiong ,

Yes indeed , I am deafened by your silence . If you both seem suddenly afflicted with Writers Cramp , I sincerely hope that this malady will leave you both soon as I am eagerly awaiting responses from both of You .

Frankly your Charade has run its course , and neither of you have supplied substantial evidence
to substantiate your claims that the Iranian was or is in possession of a Vincentian Passport .
You only became aware of the fact when I stated in this Newspaper that the identical article
was stated in the Jamaica Observer ; without any mention or reference of the Iranian being in
possession of a Vincentian Passport .

Now that both of you have been exposed , hopefully readers of this Newspaper will not only take what you write , as figments of your imaginations , but will be very dismissive .
