Action in the Fourth Annual East Kingstown Sports Association Softball Cricket Competition commenced last weekend at the Grammar School Playing Field.

In the only match played on Sunday, newcomers Printery had a 22-run win over Alcoholix.

Batting first, Printery reached 127 for 9 off 20 overs.

Tracy Cozier slammed 55. Felix Baptise, 3 for 7, and Winston Holder, 3 for 24, were the main wicket-takers for Alcoholix.

In reply, Alcoholix were dismissed for 105 off 18 overs.

Kareem Peters top scored with 27. Raffie Williams and Kevorn Cozier took 3 for 14 and 30, respectively.

  • 10 a.m.: Dr. Thomas Injectors and Alcoholix

  • 3 p.m.: Defending champion Bank of SVG all Stars and Young Strikers will compete (feature games).
