“Promises” was released on Nov. 2nd 2015 by Lifeshift Records.

It was was written by Howell, Carol Angel Jackson and David Thomas.

“The song came as a result of going to Barbados with team from the Mints SVG worship course. I had previously met Carol Angel Jackson and David Thomas when I did the course the year before. Carol is a singer/songwriter and David is a music producer. They expressed their interest in working with me, so when I went to Barbados the second time we went into studio. It didn’t take too long before we came up with the concept and we all worked on the song. It ended up being the song that fit right in with what I had gone through, being a cancer survivor. God promised he would not leave or forsake me and today I am a living testimony of his promise,” Howell said.
