Rillan Hill resident Hariet Caine, owner of the Paradise Malone, held an exhibition at the community centre in the South Leeward village last month to present the brand to the local community.

Caine said that in addition to showcasing the product line, the event was also geared at highlighting a small business from the community, showcasing entrepreneurial skills, and the quality of the products, including the metal logo brand on items and also the made in St Vincent and the Grenadines woven label inside.

The exhibition was also held so that patrons can get up close with the products and evaluate for themselves.

Questions were answered about the construction of the bags, the types of materials used and where the material is sourced.

The fashion show unveiled a series of outfits with Paradise Malone handbags to enhance the look. Outfits types ranged from very formal to very casuals, including dinner/reception dresses, jeans, and African-patterned fabric skirts and tops.
