RSVG Police, defending champions, Country meet Town out ah Trouble 1, Warriors Sports Club, Gairy Construction Simple Boyz and Gairy Construction Stingers all ended as victors on another weekend of exciting cricket in the SVG Police Co-operative Credit Union Clinchers T20 softball competition at the Richland Park Oval.

On Saturday, RSVG Police defeated Mt Pleasant by nine wickets. Mt Pleasant batting first were dismissed for 55 in 12.5 overs, Kevin John 3/14Kiminah Westfield 3/9; RSVG Police 58/1 from 4.4 overs, Desron Maloney 39*.

In the second match, defending champions Country meet Town out ah Trouble 1 defeated Smart Strikers by 5 wickets. Smart Strikers, batting first, reached 115/ 5 off 20 overs with Britnol Scott 59*, Richie Richards 3/18; Country meet town Out Ah Trouble 1 116/5 (14.2 overs) Devian Barnum 51*, Aldine Spring 4/18.

On Sunday, Warriors Sports Club defeated Shop for Less Nice Radio Clinchers ONE by five wickets. Shop for Less Nice Radio Clinchers ONE batting first were restricted to 98/9 in 20 overs, Brent Saunders 28 (3) sixes (1) four ,Jamal Williams 3-34; Warriors Sports Club 101/5 (18.3 overs).

Gairy Construction Simple Boyz defeated Fully Loaded Ballerz by five wickets. Fully Loaded Ballerz batting first got to 99/4 in 20 overs Roneke James 40 (3)fours (3)sixes and Las Harry 31 (4) fours led the batting. Gairy Construction Simple Boyz replied with 100/ 5 in 13 overs, Stein Joseph 33 (4) sixes, Jabari Cunningham 29 (2) fours (3) sixes led the batting.

In the weekend’s final match Gairy Construction Stingers defeated Dr Thomas Injectors by six wickets. Dr Thomas Injectors batting first were dismissed for 102 in 18.2 overs, Elroy Nanton got the topscore of 25 (2) sixes (2) fours with Calbert Simons taking 3/24; Gairy Construction Stingers responded with 106/ 4 in 19 overs with the topscore coming from Calbert Simons 33 (3) sixes (2) fours.
