KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent – The West Indies Cricket Board has confirmed that St. Vincent and the Grenadines is ready to host three One-Day International (ODI) cricket matches on March 16, 18, and 20, and gave the preparations an “A+” grade.

Minister of Sports Cecil ‘Ces’ McKie, in making the announcement in Parliament on Tuesday, said it would be the first time that a Caribbean nation will be hosting three back-to-back ODIs.

“We must be doing something right here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” McKie said as he congratulated the local Cricket Association.

“What we have to do now is to ensure that we are ready, as a nation, in terms of going out and supporting those games so that we will continue to receive the attention of the West Indies Cricket Board in terms of hosting One-Day Internationals and other games here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” he said.
