KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, March 14, IWN — Eye Focus Inc. SVG will be offering free Intraocular Pressure Tests on Friday, March 15, from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
The free tests, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, are being offered to mark the celebration of World Glaucoma Week, which ends on March 16.
World Glaucoma Week aims to educate people about how to assess their risk for glaucoma and to be aware of the importance of regular eye exams and disease detection.
Glaucoma refers to a group of eye conditions that lead to damage to the optic nerve. This nerve carries visual information from the eye to the brain.
Minister of Health Clayton Burgin would also be on site at Eye Focus’ Kingstown office on the second floor of The Hinds Building.
No appointment is needed for the test.
