One man was electrocuted and another said to be in critical condition in the Northern Grenadine island of Bequia after an incident at a dive shop on Monday.

I-Witness News understands that Larry Stowe died at the Port Elizabeth Hospital, where he was taken after the incident around 2 p.m.

Reports further indicate that Ron Williams and Stowe, owners of the dive establishment, were using a compressor to refill dive tanks when the incident occurred.

Sources tell I-Witness News that Williams, was injured in the incident and is in hospital in critical condition.

The incident on Bequia is the second tragedy on Monday.

Early that day, a teenage girl died after a truck ran over her during J’ouvert celebrations in Kingstown.

    I just discovered I know the deceased through his wife/family. I am heart broken and imagine how hard this will be for his spouse. I pray that God strengthens her to bear this. My deepest Sympathy to the family on their loss and I wish recvery for the gentleman who is ill in hospital.

My heart and deepest sympathy goes out to his wife, children and loved ones.     The news of Laury’s passing has saddened us deeply. Our condolences to all of his family. He was a good friend and a wonderful husband and father to his wife and three children. Laury touched many persons lives in his too short life and he will be missed by all who knew him. We will never think of Bequia without remembering that infectious smile that touched everyone who were so lucky to have called him friend. You will be missed dear friend.
    Our hearts go out as well to Ron and hope for a full recovery from his injuries. The loss of your friend may be the deepest injury of all.

Man it’s crazy that was one of my homie, right now my heart is broken when i heard about larry man, We went too school and play football together and every time i go back home from NYC, we act like, years and time never pass, SAD today, and R.I.P is written on the wall today for my Homie man, Until we meet again.
