For a short while I had enjoyed reading Mr. Binose’s opinion pieces on this site. It is not because he writes balanced, accurate and well-informed articles. On the contrary, on June 17 Mr. Binose told us here that the distance from Canouan to Toronto was 2,500 miles, while the distance from Canouan to Texas was 2,800 miles.
What I had enjoyed about Mr. Binose’s opinion pieces were the strong opinions he expresses, and that he had appeared to be attempting to hold the Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines and his Government to account. Unfortunately, in article after article on this site, almost without exception, his strong opinions can be summed up as follows: “I have a visceral hatred of Prime Minister Gonsalves, and I shall oppose everything that he and his Government do.” It seems pathological, and I fear that Mr. Binose has squandered much of his credibility as an opinion writer. In their totality Mr. Binose’s articles here smell like a soup of bitterness spiced with thwarted ambition.
No doubt those with political axes to grind will lap up with relish what Mr. Binose serves up. But it is hugely disappointing that a seemingly intelligent man does not appear to be able to discern that popularity borne out of divisiveness is less important than being credible to those who do not participate in tribal politics. The challenge therefore for Mr. Binose is to recognise that it is possible for him to criticise the Prime Minister and his Government and do so often, restrain his vengeance every once in a while, remain popular with those who share his hatred, and gain additional following among those looking for entertaining opinion pieces, for which he undoubtedly has an aptitude.

I totally agree with the writer. I had previously expressed those same sentiments to Peter. I would not go as far as to say he hates Ralph, because some people paint me with the same brush. However his constant references to Ralph has done more damage to his writing skills than to Ralph incompetents as a leader.
This piece is just as, if not more, entertaining as those of Peter Binose. We benefitting all how…
In other words, he is being like the pm?
Good afternoon to all you who really appreciate what I write. I am a simple man and some times make mistakes, I never knowingly tell lies, we will leave that to Ralph Gonsalves who has already admitted to being a liar, and aptly demonstrated the same.
Instead of picking fault in what I write, why not pick fault in Gonsalves, all the lies, untruths and signatory of false statements by way of the teachers agreement, and all the crap that he puts forward as a smoke screen against the truth.
Why not tell us about all the dreadful lies regarding the airport at Argyle, “will cost the tax payer nothing, no debt will remain” “the Venezuelans are paying the Cubans wages” “we have a group of countries who are ‘the coalition of the willing’ who will be helping us financially, donating the cement, donating the black top, donating the plant and machinery” Ask him why until recently he never told the people we would have to take loans, loans so great and vast it will take our great grandchildren a hundred years to repay them.
Ask him why he has appointed Conviasa Air, the Venezuelan state airline to be our flag carrying airline, ask him about that being an ALBA directive to several Caribbean countries. Why did he lie about the airlines that would be using our airport.
Ask him about his stupidity regarding attacking Trinidad and Tobago regarding reduced price fuel for its state owned airline, yet our new ALBA directed partner, Conviasa Air, only pays 20cents a gallon for aircraft fuel. And to top it all that airline has been blacklisted and banished from European airspace and airports because of its safety record.
Now you tell us why a fiscal dunce should be allowed to flush the whole country down the toilet with his obvious lack of street wise basic intelligence.
He was accused and charged with rape, and accused of sexual assault on up to 5 occasions. Never went to court to prove his innocence, and bucked like a wild bronco to achieve that.
I do not hate Gonsalves, I hate what he stands for, I hate his Marxist ideology, I dont believe that a man who is a self confessed and stated liar, a man who is willing to put his signature to a document knowing it to be unconstitutional and therefore unenforceable, who claimed all that signed it were aware an admission which in my point of view points to a conspiracy.
Ask him how he taxed the Grenadine people when leaving Kingstown for their homes in the Grenadines, yet he never taxed people who lived in Georgetown when leaving Kingstown for their homes.
Ask him about how he has sold out all the Grenadine lands to raise money for the airport, sold lands that create hardship for Grenadine families, the very same people as he taxed when the went home leaving from Kingstown.
Ask him how the electorate were bribed with building materials and other items to vote for him and the ULP party.
I truly in my heart believe Gonsalves is a spiteful and nasty person, a man not fit to lead our blessed nation.
If you analyse all the bad things he is responsible for, the people who support him are little better than him. Remember this is the man that told parliament if I work Obeah, I only work Obeah for the Lord I sometimes tell lies show me a liar and I will show you a thief. Perhaps you can explain to me how all this crap is acceptable to you, yet when I write about it, I am pointed out by you as the villain.
I have decided to remove THOMAS MATHEWS from the membership of my fan club. PVPALMER I will allow you to continue as a member, because I know that your problem is simply due to pure stupidity.
MATHEWS make sure you discuss what I wrote with the fat man.
