Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace has described as out of place the suggestion by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves that the New Democratic Party (NDP) postpone its protest march, scheduled for this Friday.

The NDP is hosting a march through Kingstown and will picket in front of the Financial Complex — where Gonsalves’ office is located — to show solidarity for NDP senator, Vynnette Frederick.

The NDP senator was arrested and slapped with nine charges on July 11, hours after a magistrate threw out six charges against her.

Frederick is due in court again on July 31.

But Gonsalves said last week that if the Opposition is trying to get his attention, they should postpone the march, since he will be in Cuba on Friday.

“Gonsalves out of his damn place. We must put off our march? Is not he doing our march; we doing it. And we will march. So Friday, I want you to join us in Kingstown as we show our displeasure over this regime and what they have done to Vynnette Frederick because we can’t continue like this,” Eustace said at an NDP protest rally in Georgetown on Saturday.

“What we are fighting for here now has a lot to do with your rights, with your freedoms. That is what it is about; it is not just about Vynnette,” Eustace told party supporters.

“It has to do with us, as a people, and the systems that are being changed, pushed by Gonsalves and his cronies and we can’t afford year after year to have these incidents happen.

“Gonsalves got to go. Gonsalves got to go,” he said, adding that he agrees with NDP Vice-President, Dr. Godwin Friday that Gonsalves’ Unity Labour Party administration is beyond redemption.

“They are putting this country in a condition which is unacceptable. They have to go. And I am calling on you, the people, to come out and show your support,” Eustace said.

Why all the pleading for support Arnhim? What happen, is this preferential treatment at its best? Why is there so much concern for the senator when every Jack knows she committed a serious offence. Why is she being showered with royal treatment from you? The whole of SVG is looking on. I suppose a number of people might be asking, what if the senator was dark skinned? Would Arnhim have taken it upon himself to dictate and direct at will the courses of action to be taken on this matter? Why you’re refusing to debate Miss Nicholls case? Your tendency to show support for a law breaker and a citizen who have demonstrated her respect for the law has left other vincentians and myself baffled. The eyes of God and the public are having a close look at you

  2. CLARENCE WYLLIE, or who ever you may be, JACK FROST, JUMPING JACK, SILLY BILLY.

All of Saint Vincent is watching and knows that all this crap comes from Gonsalves original attempt to verbally assinate the girl. Many of us heard what he said, and much of it is recorded. This is a spite thing in retaliation for her laying charges against him, no more, no less.

Even Gonsalves right hand lap dog, a man who submitted to him after the attempt to destroy him , yes I refer to Parnell Campbell, says “her treatment is that reserved for terrorists”.

Miss Nichols matter has nothing to do with this, its just a red herring on your part. If Eustace made a statement about that matter it would damage her not him. She has legal rights that are open to her to pursue, if she feels she has been wronged. I would imagine the last thing she would want is public debate, she may even pray otherwise.

A law breaker, isn’t the Honourable Ms Frederick innocent until proven guilty, you sound just like a member or spokesman of this Marxist lead communist regime.

The eyes of God, and the public [if only they knew who you are] are having a close look at you, your obviously a collaborator of the worst kind, paid in kind or favour, to try and destroy the truth.
