The scum has risen to the top is St. Vincent. We are still waiting for it to be flushed. I class as scum, those politicians that have put in place a police force that is out of control, or at least only under the control of one or two politicians, and doing their bidding. I believe the Vincentian judiciary is close behind the police, perhaps way in front of the police force in being controlled by one or two politicians. We have politicians who are scum, police who are scum and judicial officer who are scum — not all, but enough to contaminate the whole system.
I have been hearing more and more about honest citizens who have had their homes raided at 4 a.m. by police goons carrying big guns. Raided for political reasons; raided on the instructions of only one or two men — leading politicians. Why? Because they can. They are in control of the police and judiciary. They believe they own the Government, the country, the police, the judiciary, and everything in between.
I have heard of a dentist whose home and office were bugged with several listening devices. Why? Because he was involved with the NDP hierarchy and a member of that party. And he claims the bugs were installed by a Cuban lady who was sent to him by a leading ULP politician as someone needing a job. Yes, a Cuban lady needing a job, does that sound familiar? I will leave that story to the man concerned, he knows the details better than me. Let him tell all here on I-Witness. Please come forward man; it’s time. The time is right for SVG and the world to know.

I have spoken with three of the people who were activists in the Save the Grenadine Marine Park matter a few years age. These are upstanding honest decent people in SVG. They were all visited at 4 a.m. by the Rapid Response Unit (RRU), dozens of them 6 feet tall men and women, carrying big automatic rifles, wearing their own plain clothes, but none the less government-sent goons. They said they were looking for drugs and money laundering activities. Now these people would no more be involved in drugs and money laundering than the man in the moon. This was a clear case of spite, malice, and hate, designed to try and frighten these people into stopping their opposition to the Marine Park being leased to a foreign private individual. I will leave that story to the people concerned. They know the details better than me. Let them tell all here on I-Witness. Please come forward people if there is at least one of you with the necessary spunk, its time. The time is right for SVG and the world to know.

Then we have the matter of the Black Squad, another set of politically controlled goons, further scum, with big guns and big fierce dogs. They turned up at the Buccament Bay Resort, Harlequins offices, to control and frighten employees and contractors who were seeking their wages and money owed to them by Harlequin. The use of these goons on the instruction of one or two politicians to protect a foreign-owned business from Vincentians that only wanted to be paid what they were owed. Can that be right, isn’t that an abuse of power.

Then we have the matter of when the police raided Bryan Alexander’s Kingstown office and searched the contents of the office and its safe, supposedly looking for money laundering activity. They surrounded the building and saturated the streets with these very same SSU officers, a paramilitary army, with officers posing as police. Men all dressed in jungle fatigue army dress, patchwork of camouflaged tunics and trousers for hiding in jungles. They raided these offices terrifying people in the streets with their big automatic assault rifles, way over the top, yes I said in Kingstown, crouching behind cars and trucks, as if expecting to be attacked. And after all that display of excessive force they found nothing, no charges, no explanations. Just a political force carrying out its political orders to cause as much panic and fear as possible, while showing the regime’s might to its opponents. They found nothing, probably expected to find nothing.

Then the same force went to the home and radio station of Douglas DeFreitas, NICE Radio, looking for a police incriminating letter which they never found. Nineteen officers all together, armed to the teeth, rude and frightening to this very nice family. Men, some in plain clothes, others dressed in jungle fatigue army dress, patchwork of camouflaged tunics and trousers for hiding in jungles. Obviously sent as a political warning, because, I believe, they would never dare such actions without the direct sanction or instructions of the one or two ULP politicians. Again this was a show of power. A frightener, and attempt to shut the mouth of the radio station’s owner and the NDP programme hosts.

The latest atrocity was the arrest of Vynnette Frederick. A small lady whom I believe is hated by our prime minister, a well-spoken and articulate adversary, someone who Gonsalves in the past has publicly described as a snotty nosed girl, equated her to several types of mango’s in the most derogatory terms. Even said she went away a girl and came back a tomboy, which I believe as a Vincentian equates with being a lesbian.
I believe a plan was hatched to re-arrest her in the most embarrassing and public way possible. In a way that would embarrass her and her colleagues, which I can only believe to be a purposeful and flagrant breach of her human rights. Total disregard of international norms and laws. Thus making a political statement.
Ms Frederick had attended court in Kingstown on charges brought by the regime and its cronies. The magistrate threw out the charges and discharged her. She went with her lawyers and the Opposition Leader, the most honourable Mr Arnhim Eustace, to lunch at a restaurant following her court appearance. Thirty minutes later whilst seated in the restaurant, detectives and a bunch of armed SSU officers in their jungle military warfare uniforms turned up and re-arrested her. It was made to be unnecessarily as public, nasty, embarrassing, and image damaging as possible. Image damaging for both her and the honourable Opposition Leader, Mr Eustace. It was a statement by the regime that they can do whatever they want whenever they want and there is nothing that anyone can do about it.

Why are those armed paramilitaries in what is considered unjustified excessive numbers, required to act in these politically motivated matters. For instance, Ms Frederick is a person of good standing, a lawyer, an officer of the court, a member of the Bar Association, a senator, with no history of violence, no history of crime or criminal activity, not considered a flight risk. Why? Why could she not have been simply requested to attend the police station the following morning.
I believe that the police and this paramilitary mongoose gang, could never have done such a thing without direct instructions and orders from the very top. I strongly believe the orders came from the top the controller of the police and judiciary a set of politicians who are well described as scum ready for the drain.
I believe there are dozens, if not hundreds, of similar situations that we should know about.

Just an additive, a story broke that I didn’t include in my writings, LIAT called the SSU in to frighten and control passengers who were complaining loudly at E.T. Joshua airport. Men all dressed in jungle fatigue army dress, patchwork of camouflaged tunics and trousers for hiding in jungles. They the airport departure and ticketing area, terrifying travelling tourists and Vincentian air travellers, with their big automatic assault rifles, way over the top, yes I said at the airport. Some went inside and some remained outside the main entrance, behaving and acting as if they were attending a critical attack by terrorists.

I am told and verily believe it to be true that when BIGGER BIGGS was politically attacked over his land, it was under the control of the Georgetown traffic police who brought with them or met at the site the BLACK SQUAD. See what I mean why did the BLACK SQUAD need to be involved. Was this really a form of intimidation and a personal threat to BIGGS?
Seeing as this was a political matter who sanctioned the BLACK SQUAD BULLIES to attend, once again, it could only come from the top. Why do decent citizens, creators of a Vincentian economy need to be treated in this way? Well I can tell you it all started when BIGGS supported the NDP party in the last election. Prior to that he supported the ULP. This action brought down on him spite, malice and evil hatred.
This man has been mentally brutalised, his substantial work force have had their jobs and livings destroyed. The families of these workers have been raped by these actions. Rents and mortgages, school children attending schools and hospital treatment, none of this available to these workers, from what I believe came from a cancer in our society, directly from one or two ULP politicians.
