The case against opposition senator Vynnette Frederick has been adjourned to Nov. 13.
The adjournment came during a hearing at the magistrate’s court in Mesopotamia today (Wednesday).
Further, the case will be heard at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court, because the facilities there are more adequate, Magistrate Rickie Brunett said.
Frederick, a lawyer, was arrested on July 11 and slapped with nine charges relating to false declarations, swearing falsely, and fabricating evidence.
The charges stem from the contents of affidavits that Frederick submitted as part of a private criminal complaint against Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves following the December 2010 general elections.

Shouldn’t ALL facilities at the various Magistrate’s Courts around the country, be “adequate?”…we building a BILLION dollar airport, yet we can’t get THE BASICS RIGHT. Wey wrong wid you.
I can’t understand whats going on here…this was a hearing, not a f’king trial, were conditions that bad at this Magistrate’s court in Mespo,that the Magistrate couldn’t stick around for a couple hrs to do his job? What a country!
