A 19-year-old Ottley Hall youth is scheduled to return to court on March 23, 2014 for trial in relation to firearm related charges.
Quincy Boyd was granted $15,000 bail Monday when he appeared before the Serious Offences Court and pleaded not guilty to three offences under the Firearms Act.
Police arrested Boyd, a labourer, in Kingstown Friday night.
Police allegedly found a .357 Colt Magnum, a round of .357 cartridge and two rounds of .38 ammunition in his possession.
He was charged with the three offences of possessing firearm and ammunition without licence.
Boyd pleased not guilty to the charges when he appeared at the Serious Offences on Monday.
He was placed on 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew and ordered to report to the Central Police Station between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Fridays until the matter is disposed of.
