Sen. Julian Francis, manager of Star FM, the radio station that opposition MP Daniel Cummings has threatened to sue, says he believes that Cummings “still has some explaining” regarding two court documents he signed relating to the demolition of a house last month.
Cummings demanded and received an apology from Searchlight in relation to a story the newspaper published, which implicated him in the demolition.
The article was read on Star FM, which is owned by the ruling Unity Labour Party, for which Francis is general secretary.
Cummings has said that he is seeking legal advise in relation to the matter and Francis last month apologised on air, saying he was adapting Searchlight’s apology as Star FM’s.
But he went on to pose question about the court documents.

Cummings has said that Francis’ comments were not an apology and that he is seeking legal advice.

Francis said on Tuesday that Star FM was yet to receive any communication from Cummings or his legal representative.
“You can read it and draw the conclusions yourself,” he said in relation to the two court documents.
“I believe Mr. Cummings still has some explaining to do on this matter,” Francis further said.
As far as I am aware, Cummings fully explained that matter in a previous article. I hope all this crap is just not more spite, malice and hate on the part of Francis.
