A pregnant teenage woman survived injuries sustained when she was shot on the weekend.
Head of the Criminal Investigations Department, Assistant Superintendent of Police Sydney James, told I-Witness News that detectives are investigating the shooting of 19-year-old Benisha Baptiste of Ottley Hall.
He, however, said that reports that the shooting victim was not cooperating with the police are not true.
Doctors were able to save the woman and her unborn child.
