I have silently held my opinions on Pm Gonsalves now for some considerable time, observing him over the years. From the early days, seeing him tirelessly bullied and beaten at the Grammar School. Watching him over the years build himself into a man with a disturbed past.

I believe unlike some who become withdrawn and a backward scholar through abuse by bullying, Gonsalves the boy pulled up his socks and swore to get even at some future time.

But I am sure in my mind, and through my observations from then until today, I believe he also was a coward, and with the remembrance of the beatings, he has remained a coward. That is probably why today he insults Vincentians, but stands behind a barrage of police officers that he employs, to protect him from revenge and renewed beatings and bullying.

If any of the previous charges and allegations against him for rape, and indecent sexual assault ever come to court and he is convicted, that will be further proof of his cowardice.

I followed his political path, his involvement in the Marxist Walter Rodney matter, known as the Rodney Affair in Jamaica. His involvement in arousing the UWI students to protest the dismissal of Rodney, an incident that turned nasty and resulted in US$20 million in damage in Jamaica. What did he do? he ran back to the University and hid.

His association with the Castro’s and the admiration of their Marxist revolution. His help for Walter Rodney in the early days of the Grenadian Marxist revolution.

His attachment to Hugo Chavez, standing tall, or should we say standing short beside him. Revelling in the bad behaviour of Marxist Chavez, and perhaps loving every nasty word or deed that Chavez ever said or did. The strength of that man helped booster his forgetting, forgetting his own inner self deposits and collections of cowardice, behaviour well remembered, scorched and branded into his mind. Of course he has aligned himself to a whole collection of unsavoury characters, such as Ahmadinejad, Gadaffi and all sorts of what many decent people would consider scum.

His affiliation to every Marxist party or association that ever existed in his time in Saint Vincent. The rejection from the public, weekly comments by the public in local newspapers.

Taking over the old Labour Party, cloaking his own Marxist beliefs in that old party. Without the sell out of the party to him, he could never become leader of the Vincentian people, taking power by stealth and deception.

Then coming to power through a collection of blatant lies, and what some know as the “road block revolution.

Then the publishing of the WIKILEAKS documents, where he badmouthed most of the ALBA membership. If what these documents contain are true, in my opinion, here once again is a display of cowardice.

I read his book The Making of De Comrade, in my mind it is a fairylike tale, I hardly recognised the character that it displayed. I thought it was a novel, written from a mixture of fiction and real life. The problem is it was anything but a best seller, just a handful of books were sold, many more given by him as gifts, given to people who he wanted to impress, to try and convince them that he started out powerful, which I know is far from the truth. He even had the cheek to give one to the Pope recently, can you begin to imagine how much this man wants to be admired, seen to be strong and powerful, he even needs to convince God’s main man on earth.

All you young ULP parliamentarians should close the door on this man, you need to be aware your very affiliation with him, may well brand you for evermore as a Marxist and coward by association. The only people who will get ahead, future holders of the party keys, are his family, his cousin, his sons.

CLOSE THE DOOR AND CROSS THE FLOOR

After watching the video of the ULP last weekend, I was so outraged by Gonsalves’ behaviour, I thought it best to tell you my views and opinions. Even there he was surrounded by a whole gang of plain-clothes police protectors.

CROSS THE FLOOR AND CLOSE THE DOOR, go and sit on the opposition benches, leave him sitting alone, except perhaps for family members and the ultra ignorant.

  1. correction, I wrote

“His association with the Castro’s and the admiration of their Marxist revolution. His help for Walter Rodney in the early days of the Grenadian Marxist revolution”.

    it should read

“His association with the Castro’s and the admiration of their Marxist revolution. His help for Maurice Bishop in the early days of the Grenadian Marxist revolution”

Sorry about that, I suppose 1 scum bag is the same as the other, both these men were extreme scum bags.

  2. Mr. Binose, I am sick and tired of your false assertion that the PM is a communist. Though I do not dispute your other observations, no Marxist-Lenist would ever:
    1. sell so much Crown land to ensure capitalistic development in SVG.
    2. sell the government-owned NCB to commercial interests in St. Lucia.
    3. appropriate land from poor tenant farmers at Buccament and transfer them to an overseas commercial hotel operation.
    4. renew the Mustique agreement thereby enhancing the life style of the rich and famous.

There are many other examples but the point I am making is that the PM is just another power-hungry Caribbean political opportunist, a man unencumbered by any coherent political ideology, someone who will befriend and accept help from any tyrant, a person driven solely by a need to stay on top.

  4. A lot of the Crown land in Bequia was cherry picked by directors of state owned companies and other ULP’s. Sold at second line land prices instead of front line seaside/seafront land prices.

None of the best land reached the public, it was a ULP free for all.

I can can give lot numbers, locations and the buyers names.
