Prime Minister of Barbados, Freundel Stuart, says his country is committed to paying the damages the Caribbean Court of Justice awarded to Jamaican Shanique Myrie, who had sued Bridgetown after she was denied entry into Barbados in March 2001.

One reply on “Barbados PM re-commits to paying damages in Myrie case”

  1. Plain and simple like that, and move on to more important things. She’s lucky she didn’t sue SVG and win, our Prime Minister would have dragged it on for years, appealing, at huge cost to the state, even more than what would have been settle for, just to spite this young lady. Thank you Barbados, Everytime I pass through your country you always threat me like a terrorist, but at least I know you all respect the law.
