The warning from REMO or whatever the outfit is called should also extend to parents, communities and folks that live close to rivers and streams. Children and even adults should stay away from the river banks. Canada learnt the hard way and now issue warnings to parents to keep their kids away from streams during heavy rain fall. As a matter of fact, no one is allowed to build houses close to rivers and streams. This ruling was made several years ago after houses were washed away and many people lost their lives. My heart goes out to the woman and her family.
