A 23-year-old woman is expected to appear at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court today (Wednesday), where she will be arraigned on a charge of murdering her toddler.
Diana Caine, a domestic of South Rivers, was arrested and charged with the murder of LJ Keran Leran Jack jr, 3, of South Rivers, which occurred at South Rivers last Thursday, Aug. 24.
Reports are that the toddler was found lying on the ground with an injury to his head.
The postmortem examination revealed that he died as a result of a blunt trauma to his head.
This brings the total number of homicides to 22.
