Due to the storm surges and high surf conditions associated with Tropical Storm Maria — which is expected to affect the St. Vincent and the Grenadines by Sunday evening, the Ministry of Education and the National Emergency Management Organization wish to advise parents/guardians of children who travel by sea (boat) to keep them at home tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 18, and until such time as further advised by the relevant authorities.
Parents/guardians of children who travel to and from Bequia, Mayreau and Union Island are especially asked to take note.
