Can you clarify these utterances are in the capacity of your public office or as a personal citizen? The above utterances misrepresent the esteemed office you hold and do disservice to the profession you claim you represent.
As an information instrument of the a government, you should have the nous, tact and skill to raise the bar of information delivery to the citizenry.
To personally attack a fellow professional on a subjective premise betrays the fundamentals of journalism; reporting the truth, acting independently, transparency and sensitivity in reporting.
Journalism is there to challenge and check power, in his case, Mr. King, that is to challenge and check the power of the current government acting on behalf of the citizens of SVG.
You, as an instrument of information for the government, are merely there to convey a message to the people using your past industry experience in a manner that is useful. It is not for you to scandalise and defame fellow journalists doing their job.
On the issue of scholarships, it is not of personal benefit but of national advantage to all higher education support in the form of scholarships to varying global institutions of learning are awarded to young people (the future of the nation). Gratitude is only necessary to the state and by extension the citizenry whom will benefit from a more skilled and knowledgeable individual who can productively contribute to growing and innovating SVG.
We are not a court of jesters and kings where patronage is repaid in kind by praise and accepting the deity of the Dear Leader. We are a democracy where the government is there to serve the people and when the people deem that is no more the case we peacefully mark and ‘X’ for change and use the ink soaked-finger to point at sycophants like you and say shame, shame, shame.

No one sees country or the bigger picture anymore. They are all blind by what is to personally gained from their position and the interest of this country get kicked to the curb. Many of our fore-parents have fought and some even given up their life to see justice, peace and human rights, decency prevail in this country. Today, no one seems to care for country anymore but for themselves. This does not only apply to SVG but seem to be a worldly disease that is weeping this planet. We the people must try and put a stop to it, especially in a small country as our because our people is truly all we have as nation. Hans King is only protecting his interest.
