Police are investigating an incident in which a security guard employed by Guardsman Security shot a businessman in Arnos Vale last Friday, reportedly during a traffic incident.
Police said that reports are that Justin Inlaw, 30, a manager of New Montrose said that he was shot in the chest at Arnos Vale by Calbert Corke, 37, a Security Guard of Dorsetshire Hill.
As a result of the report, police have launched an unlawful and malicious wounding investigation.
They are also examining the report as a case of unlawful discharge of a firearm.
Corke is assisting police with the investigations.
