Police are investigating reports of burglary at the office of the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment and the office of Service Commissions Department in Kingstown.

Police say that between 5:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17 and 7:35 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, at Halifax Street, Kingstown, some unknown person(s) entered the ministerial offices and stole a quantity of articles.

Police did not elaborate on the nature and quantity of the items stolen but said they are the property of the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the officer in charge of the Criminal Investigation Department at +1784-457-1211.

  1. I wonder how some of those smug people in government feel now after they told us that the crimes are only amongst the gangs themselves. It looks like this time one gang stole from the biggest gang of them all. Nevertheless I am sure the government does not mind too much. If it ever gets worse and they steal too much they will just raise taxes and steal more from all of us, the legal way.
