Police on Monday said that they were alerting the public to a series of armed robberies in the Wilson Hill -Richmond Hill area.
The Police Public Relations Department said that detectives are investigating reports that three unknown persons, armed with firearms, robbed a number of people in the area on Saturday.
“The Police Force is, therefore, advising persons to be cautious when travelling about these areas,” police said in a bulletin.
“We are also advising anyone with vital information that will aid with the investigation and the prosecution of the offender(s) or any other reports, to divulge same to the Assistant Commissioner in charge Crimes at 1784-456-1339, the Officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 1784-456-1810 or through any other police outlet they are comfortable with,” the bulletin said.
