A Richland Park man has been charged with sexual assault of an 18-year-old woman.
Jeff Toney, 34, allegedly committed the offence at Indian Bay on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne at the Serious Offences Court, in Kingstown, on Thursday.
He was granted bail in the sum of EC$3,000 with one surety.The matter was adjourned and transferred to the Family Court, which generally handles such matters.

This issue of widespread tape of women and underage girls is being slighted by those in authority..if that’s indeed the case, why?
Isn’t it counter productive when as a nation we’re trying to promote tourism and the hotel industry on one hand and the other hand the rapeing of our women and underage girls seems to be trivialized and is swept under the carpet?
