One reply on “Republic Bank announces country manager for SVG”

  1. Will Republic Bank (EC) Ltd be in the market for “Business development Loans” with Sterl Lyons as its country manager for banking operations in St. Vincent and the Grenadines? This is a question many here are asking. Will with Sterl Lyons be saying that Republic Bank has agreement with the Gonsalves for a “new business environment” in SVG that would bring aspiring business persons hope and jobs? This is what many would like to know!

When will we read of “Jobs creation” at this side of Christmas from our SVG Government other than the usual “grass cutting” for a few day for the “out of work” here? Grass and shrub cutting for a few, in comparison to the vast army of “out of work” persons that so very much long for work opportunity in SVG will never do. So what are we likely to hear?

We see that once the Socialist in Brazil has now been removed from Government there in Brazil, the work of “Jobs creation” has commenced earnestly, with the new administration there. So while Vincentians, Cubans and Venezuelans scrunt about as usual, the Brazilian work creation has begun in great earnest.

“Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro has launched a programme to create jobs largely based on tax reductions for employers as Brazil struggles to put more than 12 million people back to work”.

So as “Brazil aims to create up to 4 million jobs via stimulus package” Vincentians are drowning under the weight of high taxes and lack of work! Our hope is that the Christmas Barrels continue to come from those relatives abroad!
