Petit Bordel resident Vashica Pereira, a first-year culinary arts student at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College, became the first recipient of Generation Next Inc.’s Support for Technology in Schools initiative.

On Monday, the student benefited from a HP laptop and a mobile phone courtesy of Brisha Enterprises, a New York-based Vincentian-owned company.

Youth-based charity, Generation Next Inc., known for its Access to College Education Programme (ACEP), says this new initiative will strengthen its existing educational programmes by affording students the opportunity to have greater access to technology while learning.
