Flow Radcliffe, stamped their authority with a 122 runs win over Victors One at the main Arnos Vale playing field in the Premier Division, as the SVG Cricket Association Inc. National Cricket season 2020 entered its fifth weekend.

Flow Radcliffe declared their first innings on 221 for 5, with half centuries from Gidron Pope 59 and Deron Greaves 58.

Kenson Dalzell picked up 2 for 42 and Luke Wilson 2 for 50 bowling for Victors One.

Victors One first turn at bat ended at 140.

Kenson Dalzell came back with bat to be undefeated on 47.

Spin again did the trick as Asif Hooper 5 for 49 and Richie Richards 3 for 15 halted the Victors One batting.

Flow Radcliffe, 81 run ahead, then declared their second innings on 122 for 3.

Gidron Pope stroked 79.

Set 204 for an outright win, Victors One failed again with the bat, ending on 81 all out, with 32 from Atticus Browne the only score of note.

Asif Hooper bagged 7 for 33, to end with match figures of 12 for 82 with the ball for Flow Radcliffe.

 Also in the Premier Division, a resurgent Guardian General Saints, led by Ray Charles the fast bowler, took first innings points from Police Two.

Police Two were shot out for 71 in their first innings as Ray Charles 7 for 39 and Jeremy Layne 3 for 32 used the new ball well. 

Guardian General Saints replied with 193.

Jordan Samuel 58 and Seon Sween 47 led the way with the bat. Darius Martin 3 for 17 and Cosnel Morris 3 for 31 got amongst the wickets for Police Two.

Police Two,122 runs behind, fared much better in their second innings, ending on 240 for 5 when the match was called.

Rickford Walker 97 and Kevin Abraham 66 not out, kept Guardian General Saints at bay. Geron Wyllie had taken 3 for 66. 

In the National Lotteries 50 overs First Division, Smashers downed Vee Jay’s Roof Top and Bar North Windward by 3 wickets.

Vee Jay’s Roof Top and Bar North Windward’s were dismissed for 165 in 27.3 overs with Veno Da Souza scoring 53.

There were 4 wickets apiece for Javid Harry 4 for 48 and Darren Russell 4 for 53, with the ball for Smashers, who were led by Kirton Lavia’s 64, as they reached 166 for 7 in 20 overs.

Phillip Baptiste was the best bowler on the day for Vee Jay’s Roof Top and Bar North Windward taking 3 for 39.

Group B leaders, Keegan’s Bequia XI kept their unbeaten record intact with a 78 runs win over Radcliffe Two. Keegan’s Bequia XI scored 212 in 37.1 overs.

Cosmus Hachshaw 46 and Jarell Edwards 42 led the batting.

Kyle Bobb took 4 for 25 bowling for Radcliffe Two, who were restricted to 134 all out in 28.4 overs.

Webster Roban scored 31. Iran Mack 4 for 28 and Chelson Stowe 3 for 21 complete the job for Keegan’s Bequia XI.

Also, Police One crushed St. Vincent Distillers Glamorgan by 121 runs. Parnel Browne’s 65 pushed Police One to 235 all out in 36.5 overs.

Adolphus Campbell 3 for 36 and Enrique Grant 3 for 58 got amongst the wickets for St. Vincent Distillers Glamorgan, who in reply only mustered 114 all out for 26.2.

Gerald Gould 3 for 15, Vertil Davis 3 for 24 and Parnel Browne 3 for 31 impacted the Glomorgan’s innings.

And in the Women Super 40 overs tournament, there were commanding wins for defending champions United Survivors and JG Tigress and Sons.

United Survivors chastened CJ MSDA Julius Anthony Northern Stars by 9 wickets.

Northern Stars only achieved 55 all out in 13.2 overs.

Cordel Jack wrecked the Northern Stars innings with figures of 5 for 9 from 4.2 overs. United Survivors then took 8 overs to reach their victory target of 56, for the loss of one wicket. Kimone Homer was left not out on 24.

 JG Tigress & Sons also enjoyed a comfortable win over Radcliffe Girls. Radcliffe Girls innings ended at 89 for 7 after 18.4 overs, with Tomeisha Brackin carrying her bat to be unbeaten on 32.

 Stacy-Ann Adams returned the figures of 5 for 6 in 5.4 overs to be the chief destroyer. JG Tigress and Sons, propelled by a thirty ball 54 not out by Edelyn Turtin, then reached 92 for 1 off 9.3 overs
