Motorists and pedestrians using the Akers to Argyle road can now do so in comfort.

This follows resurfacing and repair work being done to the asphalt roadway leading from the roundabout in La Croix through Akers, on to Argyle.

Work is being carried out on 514 square yards of road between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday, Rohan Cupid, communications officer at the Roads, Buildings & General Services Authority (BRAGSA) said in a statement on Tuesday.

Drain cleaning exercises are also being conducted, Cupid said.

He said that the project, which is being done at an estimated cost of EC$111,000, is expected to be completed this Thursday.
