The Division of Teacher Education stopped the Troumaca Secondary School while Bethel Young Lasses enhanced semi-finals chances with another win, when the 2020 ECGC Island Sipz Water SVG Community College Invitational Netball competition continued on Wednesday at the Sion Hill hard court.

The Division of Teacher Education ended the unbeaten run of the Troumaca Secondary School with a tactically astute 25-20 triumph.

The teachers-in-training turned around a 3rd quarter deficit to pull off the win.

Also on Wednesday, Bethel Young Lasses had the better of Barrouallie Secondary as they took hold of the game in the last quarter to complete a 19-12 win.

The default route decided the other two round five preliminary matches.

Year Two Technical and Vocational won by default over Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies, while year One Technical and Vocational failed to show, giving an easy three points to Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Troumaca Secondary School has remained unbeaten while Barrouallie Secondary held SVG Community College Arts, Sciences and General Studies Year 2 to a tie.

Troumaca Secondary School had withstood a third quarter surge by the college team to record a come-from-behind 22-16 win.

Barrouallie Secondary then stood their ground to hold the previously unbeaten Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies to a tense 14-all draw.

In the other two fourth round matches, Bethel Young Lasses defeated Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies 23-13.

Then to close off proceedings on day four, the Division of Teacher Education humbled Year One Technical and Vocational 40-3.

The penultimate day of first round matches would be Friday.

Year Two Technical and Vocational will meet Bethel Young Lasses from 1 p.m. Year One Technical and Vocational take on Barrouallie Secondary at 2 p.m.; Year Two Arts, Sciences and General Studies lock horns with the Division of Teacher Education from 3:00pm then at 4 p.m., Year One Arts, Sciences and General Studies battle the Troumaca Secondary School.
