One reply on “SVG records 11 new local COVID-19 cases”

  1. I am hoping that we have Health Professionals in SVG that will put the facts of these new cases in perspective so that everyone will know there is nothing to fear.
Knowledgeable virologists will tell you that in the normal life of most viruses they weaken in order to be able to spread more easily. This continues until the virus is so weak that it is nothing for most anyone to worry about. Many are saying this is already happening to Covid-19. Recently the overall average survival rate for anyone getting Covid-19 was 99.3%, then it was 99.6% now it is 99.9%. Until recently our government was doing a good job concerning the virus but it seems that now that we have a few cases, they are beginning to push the panic button and causing the ridiculous fear and draconian measures several other countries are using.
The countries (jurisdictions) NOT doing these ridiculous things are far better off than those that are. I hope we are not lemmings! I will never vote for anyone who treats me like one, disrespects my freedom of choice and movement for no good reason.
