iWitness News was in Barrouallie close to midnight Thursday, 8 April 2021 as evacuee arrived in the Central Leeward town from Chateaubelair in North Leeward, which is in the volcano Red Zone.
Authorities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines have ordered an evacuation in light of a possible explosive eruption of La Soufriere, which has been erupting effusively since December 2020.
