Fifteen new recoveries were noted over the reporting period, leaving 1,774 active cases.

Since March 2020, SVG has recorded 4,860 cases of COVID-19 and 3,023 people have recovered from the illness.

NEMO said:

“In view of the confirmed presence of the Delta, Mu and Gamma variants in the community and the significant increase in the number of new infections, transmission, severe COVID-19 disease and deaths, strict enforcement and compliance with all protocols and recommendations by everyone is strongly recommended. The correct and consistent use of masks, avoidance of crowds, physical distancing, proper hand sanitising and immunisation with available vaccines have all been proven to significantly reduce the risk of being infected, getting sick and or dying from the COVID-19 virus.”

  1. 80% of the USA is now vaccinated. Why are the people of St so damn stupid? Less than 40% is just plain and simple stupid.

  2. Strange! With all these deaths I do not know anyone who has died of Covid-19 in SVG. I also do not know anyone, that knows anyone who has died of Covid-19. But I do, or did, know people who have died soon after getting vaccinated; to include my mother. And, I know other people that have had relatives and acquaintances that have died shortly after vaccination. The department of health seems to be telling me that I imagined my mother’s death after getting vaccinated. Very strange!

Will we ever be able to get the government to embrace truth and prosperity in place of misinformation and political agendas?

  3. Sadly covid19 is gaining ground. The big man said no quarter. Wonder what he saying now. No lock down a Vincy? No mask mandate? No protocols enforcement.
