Meanwhile, a 55-year-old female with underlying conditions tested positive for COVID-19 on June 27 and was admitted to the Isolation Ward at MCMC.
She died on Saturday, July 2, of COVID-19 pneumonia. She was unvaccinated.
The deaths bring to 114 the death toll from COVID-19 in SVG.
This is a difficult diagnosis did the mother have covid was this child cultured to exclude all the other agents like group B strep that are more lethal at this stage. What other Co morbidities did the child have. I would seriously question this diagnosis.
What about the parents’ health? do they have it too? how did the baby get it?
