Police Youth Clubs donate food to the needy

The members of the Police Youth Club handed out 44 gift baskets to needy, elderly residents of North Leeward last week.

On Friday, additional gift baskets were distributed to residents of Richland Park, Mesopotamia and Sandy Bay.

The gifts were made up of food items and toiletries and were made possible through the kind generosity of the homeowners in Mustique and the management and staff of Courts SVG Ltd. The high command of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force expressed their appreciation to the homeowners in Mustique and Courts SVG Ltd.

The Police Youth Clubs aim to assist in the wholesome development of the nation’s youth in collaboration with the National Commission on Crime Prevention, social organisations and government institutions.

PYCs also aim to produce law-abiding, purposeful, productive and patriotic citizens.
