TAIPEI, Taiwan –Undergraduate students with “outstanding grades” at Ming Chuan University International College (MCUIC) can graduate one semester or one year early.

To qualify, students must meet the criteria of Article 47 of the Student Handbook and get the approval of the University Affairs Committee Meeting.

Students must also have completed all the required credits and maintain a final average grade of at least 85 per cent each semester.

While phy-ed is a non-credit course, it will affect students' ability to graduate early.

Their physical education grade must be 70 per cent or higher each semester.


For student taking military education, that grade must not fall below 70 per cent each semester.

Additionally, students who want to graduate early must remain among the top five percent of students for the same year-level within the department, section or specialized degree, the Student Handbook says.
