Kingstown, St. Vincent, March 20 — A local diving outfit, Indigo Dive, has been recognised as the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Education Centre of the Month.

“This is huge, not only for my company, but it puts St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the global spotlight too,” Kay Wilson, owner of Indigo Watersports said in a release.

“Winning this award, within a year of achieving PADI 5 Star Resort status is an incredible achievement, especially taking into account that our team is 100 per cent Vincentian, all whom have worked, and continue to work extremely hard to reach their goals of becoming PADI dive professionals — Dive Masters, Dive Instructors, Master Scuba Diver Trainers, PADI Staff Instructors and Emergency First Response Instructors,” she further said.

“When you take into account that most of the Indigo team members had never worked within the hospitality or dive industries prior to joining the Indigo team just over two and a half years ago, when the company expanded to provide service to the Buccament Bay Resort, their achievements are incredible and I am extremely proud of their accomplishments,” Wilson further stated.

Every day, divers send from around the world sends PADI correspondence complimenting PADI Dive Centres and Resorts for outstanding customer service and commending PADI divemasters and instructors for their professionalism and leadership abilities.
