JAX Enterprises Ltd. on Monday kicked off Season 2 — the 2016 Edition — of its Excellent Achievers rewards programme, an initiative that rewards students for their achievements and encourages them to pursue excellence throughout their years of secondary education.
This is the second year that the company is partnering with primary schools across St. Vincent and the Grenadines, recognising and rewarding the efforts of students who were successful at the 2016CPEA Examinations.
Last year, JAX rewarded 30 students from 17primary schools nationwide. Each student received the company’s “Certificate of Excellence” for their academic achievements, signed by the company’s founder, A. Nathaniel Jack, along with shopping vouchers valued at $100.
This year, however, JAX has significantly expand the rewards programme and is now committed to rewarding 100 students nationwide.
Sixteen excellent achievers nationally will each receive the company’s Certificate of Excellence along with $500 shopping vouchers redeemable on anything storewide. An additional 84 students will each receive JAX’s certificate of excellence along with $100 shopping vouchers toward school supplies.
The company’s ultimate goal is not just to reward the brightest and best students but also to assist and reward those who have done well despite challenging circumstances.
In addition, those awardees who maintain a set GPA or who rank among the top 10 in their respective classes will then be eligible to re-apply for scholarship amounts annually.
This means an additional $500 or $100 in JAX shopping vouchers annually for students who continue to strive for excellence.
