North Stars 11 of Owia played Overland and scored 137 for 3 from their 10 overs as the Shevern John North Windward T10 cricket competition continued on Saturday at the Fancy Playing Field.
Overland was unsuccessful in their chase, scoring 63 for 4 from their 10 overs.
In the second match of the day, Fancy Hard Knockers defeated Drivers and Conductors in a close and exciting match which also saw many wide being bowled.
Fancy Hard Knockers batted first and scored 89 for 7 from their 10 overs while Drivers and Conductors completed their stop at 79 for 6 from their 10 overs.
Bringing a close to the days’ games, Byera Linkers scored 51 for 3 from 4.3 overs as they responded to Rum Hitters, of Fancy, who batted first and fell off the wagon 49 all out from 9.4 overs.
On Sunday, at the Owia playing field, Owia Strikers defeated Distiller Strikers, scoring 150 for 3 from their 10 overs and confined the chaser to 46 for 7 from their 10 overs.
In the female division, Fancy Beamers were no shine for Warriors 11 of Owia who batted first and secured 106 for 3 from their 10 overs. Fancy Beamers trailed and scored 52 for 6 from their 10 overs.
Additionally, Family and Friends of Owia gave a successful chase to Young Stallion who scored 39 for 9 from their 10 overs. Family and Friends dominated the game scoring 43 for 6 from 6.4 overs.
