The body of a female was found on a beach in Bequia moments ago, multiple sources have confirmed to iWitness News.
Sources said that beachgoers stumbled upon the body in the La Pompe area of the northern Grenadines island.
One source who described the body as that of “an elderly woman” said that people who were on the beach were not immediately sure of the identity of the deceased.
iWitness News was reliably informed that police had been notified and had launched an investigation.
