Three matches were played in the Shevern John North Windward Youth T10 cricket tournament on Saturday at the Owia Playing Field.

In game 1, Lavue Fancy Hard Knocks won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 36 for 6 in 8 overs.

Owia Strikers comfortably chased the target, reaching 40 for 1 in 4 overs.

Game two saw Greggs Yung Starz winning the toss and electing to bat. They scored 75 for 4 in 10 overs.

Point Pent House fell short in their chase, managing 60 for 8 from 10 overs.

In Game 3, Sion Hill won the toss and elected to bat first, securing 63 for 6 in 10 overs. Diamonds Young Strikers responded with 44 for 9 in 10 overs.

Then on Sunday, Young Blazers clogged Dr. Thomas Injectors 64 for 5 in 10 overs. Dr. Thomas Injectors responded with 51 for 8 from their 10 overs.

In the female category, and the second match for the day, Browne’s Valuation Services Combine Smashers scored 38 for 3 in 10 overs. 

Warriors 11 comfortably chased the target, reaching 42 for 3 in 5.2 overs.

In the final encounter between Byera Linkers and Owia Strikers, Owia Striker deposited 96 for 6 in 10 overs. Byera Linkers fell short in their chase, managing 35 all out in 8.2 overs.

Matches continue this weekend at the Owia playing field.
