The Carnival Development Corporation announced on Facebook on Saturday that the following 22 calypsonians have advanced to the semi-finals of the national calypso monarch competition on June 29 at the Cruise Ship Terminal in Kingstown.
They will seek to be among the 11 finalists who will try to unseat the defending monarch, Raeon “Maddzart” Primus, on July 6 at Victoria Park in Kingstown.
The photo captions are the name of the artiste, their tent name, followed by the name of their song.
