A close male relative of a 60-year-old Yambou man is in custody as police continue an investigation into his death, which occurred on Friday.
Don Jackson, a farmer, died after he was allegedly struck during an altercation between his sons.
Police said that around 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jackson’s sons were involved in a family dispute.
Jackson reportedly intervened and was struck with an object to the side of his face.
He was transported to the Levi Latham Health Centre, where he later died.
Police said that a post-mortem examination will be conducted on Jackson’s body.
