St. Vincent Brewery Ltd. (SVBL) is emphasising responsible drinking, placing hydration, health, and sustainability at the heart of the carnival experience this Vincymas.
“As a brewery, SVBL has always championed the importance of enjoying our beverages responsibly,” Country Manager Shafia London said.
“But this year, we felt it was time to go a step further — to not just talk about moderation but actively support the well-being of those who celebrate with us.”
Brewery has, therefore, launched a Smart Sips campaign, “a tangible, forward-thinking initiative designed to keep energy high and people hydrated,” London said.
In collaboration with Dasani water, SVBL Island Chill Soda Water, and the Ministry of Health and the Environment — Nutrition Unit, Smart Sips will make its mark across major events during the first week of July, including Carnival Monday and Tuesday.
Hydration stations will be set up to offer free access to water and soda water, wellness information, and on-site support from healthcare professionals ready to assist and educate in real-time.
“As a proud local brewery, we have always encouraged responsible drinking — but this year, we wanted to live that message in a more tangible way,” Kimon Baptiste, PR & Media Analyst at SVBL said.
“Smart Sips” is about meeting people where they are — on the road, in the fête, in the moment — and giving them the tools to care for themselves, their friends, and their environment.”
