Police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are seeking the public’s help to identify the body of a man that was found in Fair Hall on Tuesday with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the deceased is estimated to be aged 25 to 37 and of slim build with ”black Negriod locks with bleached ends”.
The deceased is “dark to medium brown” in complexion and has the “Family” tattooed on the left chest and two dice with flames on the left.
The body also has a tattoo of a skull and flames on the left shoulder and “Stay Alive” tattooed on the left shin.
Police are asking anyone who recognises the deceased or has information that can assist in its identification to call 911 or 999, (784) 457-1211, (784) 458-4200, (784) 457-1211, Ext. 4876, or speak with any police officer or at any police station you feel comfortable with.
“All information shared will be kept strictly confidential,” police said.
Meanwhile, police are also investigating a shooting incident around 8 p.m. on Monday in Belair that resulted in serious injuries to an adult male.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was sitting outside a liquor and provision shop when he heard gunshots ring out, which prompted him to flee for safety. During his escape, he sustained gunshot wounds to his leg and finger before managing to reach a nearby residence,” police said.
“Police officers from the district were alerted and responded swiftly, secured the scene, and ensured that the victim was transported to Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) for medical treatment. The Police are actively seeking to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.”
Police are also asking for the assistance of the public as they investigate the shooting in Belair.
