Police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines have responded to a suspected murder-suicide in Diamond.
Initial reports are that a man’s son saw him attempting to set a house on fire.
The man’s son and some of his son’s friends approached the man, who pelted them with stones and bottles.
During this time, the man’s son saw his mother lying motionless inside the house.
The man then went into the house, locked himself inside and, apparently, doused it with a substance before setting it on fire.
Police have responded and have launched a homicide investigation.
