The Clare Valley man accused of attacking the acting head of the Agency for Public Information, Nadia Slater and her aunt has been denied bail for the third consecutive week.

Keswert Slater, 45, Nadia Slater’s cousin, reappeared before Chief Magistrate Coling John at the Serious Offences Court on Monday.

During the hearing, the prosecutor, Inspector of Police Renrick Cato, informed the court that Jean Slater, whom the accused is alleged to have attempted to murder, was still hospitalised.

The prosecution objected to bail.

The magistrate ordered that the accused be further remanded to prison until June 1 for bail review.
