A Glen man accused of killing another over a plumrose has been committed to stand trial for murder in the High Court.
Chief Magistrate Colin John committed the man, Deondre McDonald, to stand trial after a paper committal at the Serious Offences Court on Monday.
A paper committal is where a magistrate determines, by reading witnesses’ statements in collaboration with the prosecutor and defence counsel, if there is enough evidence to send a matter to the High Court for trial.
McDonald, then 27, is charged that he murdered Ronaldo Andrews Adams, of Glen, in the East St. George community on May 14, 2025.
Adams was 21 at the time of his death.
