The curtain came down on another successful season of the F15 Softball Cricket Tournament 4.0 on Sunday, with Country Meet Town Outah Trouble producing a sensational all-round performance to dethrone the three-time defending champions, RS Production Kombat Warriors.

Winning the toss and electing to field first, Country Meet Town Outah Trouble completely dominated with the ball, dismissing RS Production Kombat Warriors for 41 runs in 14.2 overs.

Roderick John was the top scorer with just 7 runs, as the defending champions struggled against relentless bowling.

Leading the attack was Jerando Jardine, who claimed 3 wickets for 7 runs in 3 overs, while Damian Barnum supported brilliantly with 2 wickets for 8 runs in 2 overs.

Needing only 42 runs for victory, Country Meet Town Outah Trouble calmly reached 42 runs for 4 wickets in 9.5 overs.

Jabari Cunningham top-scored with 16 runs, supporting his team to a memorable championship victory.

For RS Production Kombat Warriors, Donaldson Harry fought hard with figures of 2 wickets for 9 runs in 3 overs, while Danroy Fergus claimed 1 wicket for 6 runs in 2.5 overs, but the total proved too small to defend.

BOSVG All Stars finish third

Meanwhile,  BOSVG All Stars finished their campaign on a high by defeating Fairban United by 34 runs to claim third place in the tournament.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, BOSVG All Stars compiled an impressive 129 runs for 6 wickets in their allotted 15 overs.

Captain Newborn Josep led the innings, continuing his outstanding tournament form with a superb 59 runs, earning him the Man of the Match.

He received excellent support from Kody Horne, who contributed 35 runs.

Fairban United’s bowlers fought hard to contain the scoring, with Antonio Barker returning impressive figures of 2 wickets for 15 runs in 3 overs, while Andrew Glasgow claimed 1 wicket for 16 runs in 2 overs.

Chasing 130 for victory, Fairban United battled throughout their innings but were restricted to 95 runs for 7 wickets from their 15 overs.

Antonio Barker led the batting with 26 runs, while Mike Duncan added 21 runs, but the target proved beyond reach against a disciplined BOSVG bowling attack.

With the ball, Newborn Joseph completed an outstanding all-round performance by taking 2 wickets for 12 runs in 2 overs, while Desmond Bramble produced an exceptional spell of 2 wickets for just 3 runs in 3 overs to help seal the victory.
